Monday Jun 08, 2026
Monday Jun 08, 2026
This message looks at the tension every follower of Jesus feels. We are saved by grace, not by works, but we are still called to walk in the good works God prepared for us. So how do we take real steps without turning discipleship into religious activity? How do we grow without making it all about ourselves? From John 15, Galatians 5, Acts 2, Colossians 2, and Ephesians 2, this message is a reminder that every step matters when every step is taking us closer to the Vine.

Should I Stay or Leave?
Wednesday Jun 03, 2026
Wednesday Jun 03, 2026
In this episode of Cornerstone Conversations, we continue an honest and needed conversation about authority, submission, maturity, and the moments where staying may be forming something in us, while leaving may be the wisest and healthiest next step. This discussion moves through the tension many people feel in jobs, churches, families, leadership environments, and even difficult relationships, asking how to know the difference between discomfort that grows us and dysfunction that damages us.
With practical guardrails, biblical wisdom, and a lot of real life nuance, this conversation looks at ego, correction, accountability, abuse, manipulation, truth, safety, repentance, and what it means to be led by the Holy Spirit instead of simply reacting out of frustration. If you have ever wondered whether you need to stay longer, grow deeper, or begin making a healthy exit plan, this episode is meant to help you slow down, get honest, and listen for the voice of the Good Shepherd.

Heart Not Hustle | Pastor Josh Hersey | From the Vine
Sunday May 31, 2026
Sunday May 31, 2026
What if the Christian life was never meant to be powered by hustle, pressure, and trying harder? In this message from John 15 and Luke 6, Pastor Josh unpacks the difference between religious activity and real abiding in Jesus. Growth does not come from forcing fruit, hiding your wounds, or proving yourself to God. It comes from staying connected to the true vine, bringing the broken places into the presence of Jesus, and trusting Him to do what only He can do.
If you have ever felt exhausted by faith, trapped in performance, wounded by religion, or unsure if God could really meet you in the middle of your mess, this message is for you. Jesus is not asking for a polished version of you. He is inviting you to come to Him, receive rest for your soul, and experience the kind of restoration that only happens when your heart is surrendered, not just your hustle.

What To Do When I Hate My Boss
Thursday May 28, 2026
Thursday May 28, 2026
What do you do when the person leading you is the person frustrating you the most? In this episode of Cornerstone Conversations, Pastor Josh, Trevor, Larry, and Katheryn have an honest conversation about authority, difficult bosses, toxic environments, and the uncomfortable work God sometimes does in us when we would rather just leave. They talk through the tension between staying faithful in a hard place and recognizing when something has crossed into unhealthy, unsafe, or ungodly territory.
This conversation is not about pretending bad leadership is okay or acting like every hard season is automatically holy. It is about learning how to pray, seek wise counsel, walk in integrity, check your own heart, and discern whether God is shaping you where you are or leading you somewhere new.

One Mile of Road | Pastor Josh Hersey | From the Vine
Tuesday May 26, 2026
Tuesday May 26, 2026
In John 15, Jesus tells us that He is the vine and we are the branches. The goal of the Christian life is not to grit our teeth, try harder, and force ourselves to produce fruit. The goal is to remain connected to Him. When we abide in Jesus, the Holy Spirit begins to produce the character of Christ in us, not because we are perfect, but because we are learning to follow Him one step at a time.
In this message, Pastor Josh continues the From The Vine series by looking at the road between two dangerous ditches: religion and rebellion. Religion makes faith all about rules, rebellion makes life all about us, but relationship keeps us walking with Jesus. Through John 15, Psalm 143, Galatians 5, and Philippians 2, we are reminded that God is not asking us to manufacture spiritual fruit on our own. He is inviting us to trust His Spirit, surrender every part of our lives, and let Him lead us forward on firm footing.
