Are you trusting God's word or relying on your own understanding?
In the new series 'Christmas Presence,' we look at the lives of key figures from the original Christmas story, starting with Zechariah. Zechariah, a priest, and his wife Elizabeth longed for a child but were unable to conceive. An angel visited Zechariah, announcing that Elizabeth would bear a son named John, who would prepare the way for Jesus. Despite this miraculous message, Zechariah doubted due to their old age and was rendered mute until John's birth.
This story highlights the importance of trusting God's word and the consequences of doubt. Zechariah's journey teaches us that obedience to God's word amplifies our influence, while doubt can silence it. As we prepare for Christmas, let us commit to trusting God's word and walking in obedience, experiencing His presence and influence in our lives.
