Sermon Notes: Good In-Tension

(Genesis 27:3 NLT) Take your bow and a quiver full of arrows, and go out into the open country to hunt some wild game for me.

(Matthew 10:16 NLT) Look, I am sending you out as sheep among wolves. So be as shrewd as snakes and harmless as doves.

(James 1:2-4 NIV) Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

(Romans 5:3-4 NLT) We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. 4 And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.

(2 Corinthians 4:17 NIV) For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
