Zechariah, a priest, and his wife Elizabeth longed for a child but were unable to conceive. An angel visited Zechariah, announcing that Elizabeth would bear a son named John, who would prepare the way for Jesus. Despite this miraculous message, Zechariah doubted due to their old age and was rendered mute until John's birth.
This story highlights the importance of trusting God's word and the consequences of doubt. Zechariah's journey teaches us that obedience to God's word amplifies our influence, while doubt can silence it.
